GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Luxtier products are created using exceptional materials and professional craftsmanship. In order to preserve the original look of your article for as long as possible, we recommend the following guidelines:
Wearing recommendations
- Always check that the product fits perfectly before wearing it
- Take your regular activities into account when choosing your article
- Follow the material care and storage instructions
- Always check the conditions of the product before wearing it
Please note: Don’t use jewelry collars with the leash
Storage
Store your Luxtier products individually in a dry and dark space using the dust bag or case provided.
Please kindly note that storage conditions such as high temperatures, strong light or high humidity can generate different undesired effects on your product like discoloration or deformation.
Articles should be cleaned, dried and treated before storing for a prolonged period.
Leather
Each piece of leather used by our craftsmen is unique and sourced from the finest tanneries in the world; the natural markings present in the material are part of the individuality and beauty of fine leather. In order to preserve the original look of your leather article for as long as possible, we recommend the following guidelines:
Day-To-Day guidelines:
The recommendations below will help you to preserve articles in their original condition.
- Protect your articles from excessive heat, high humidity and direct sunlight, so as to preserve their appearance and color for a long time into the future.
- Avoid letting leather articles come into contact with water, alcohol, oily substances, perfumes or solvents.
- Be careful not to drop, knock or rub your item against hard surfaces.
Please note: if your leather product gets wet, it will return to normal once it dries. Blot carefully with a dry towel to remove excess water and allow to air dry naturally.
Maintaining your leather product in a good condition:
It is necessary to acknowledge the varying characteristics of leathers during the cleaning process. In the following, please refer to the different materials and their specific handling.
Please note: do not use saddle soap, oils, hairdryers, abrasive cleaners, furniture polish, varnish or ammonia in the cleaning process.
Calf and Grain Leather
The grain leather is treated naturally, so color and texture may change over time creating an elegant patina.
Clean your article with a soft dry cloth. If the soiling is more stubborn, gently clean the stain with a white cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Rinse with a clean damp cloth. Allow to air dry.
Patent Leather
Patent leather is high quality leather with a very glossy, shiny finish and it is easy to clean.
If the leather becomes dirty, clean it with a cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Rinse with a clean damp cloth. Allow to air dry.
Nubuck, suede and aniline leather
Nubuck, suede and aniline leather are unique but delicate leathers and need special care and attention.
Soft and gentle brushing is a recommended cleaning method for articles made of this type of leather.
Remove dry stains from the leather by gently rubbing the affected area with a clean pencil eraser.
Treatment beyond this should be left to Luxtier leather care specialist.
Non-precious metals
All non-precious metals in Luxtier products are protected with plating that ensures the durable features and the beautiful look of the metal accessories. In order to preserve the original look of your article for as long as possible, we recommend the following guidelines:

The recommendations below will help you to preserve the metals in their original condition.
- It is recommended to remove the products during sporting activities.
- Avoid all contact with salty water, soap, cosmetic products, fragrances, hairspray as well as corrosive or solvent based cleaning agents.
- Please avoid wearing the Luxtier product at the beach, in the swimming pool, hot tub or sauna in order to protect it from any damage.
- Chlorine, especially at high temperatures, may permanently damage or discolor your Luxtier metal accessories.
Maintaining your jewelry in good condition
Clean your plated metal parts regularly by gently brushing with a soft brush and lukewarm soapy water. Then rinse carefully with fresh water and dry with a soft cloth.
If despite your care, your product remains dull, it can be serviced by the Luxtier Service Center.
Pprecious metals and stones

In order to preserve the original look of your article for as long as possible, we recommend the following guidelines:

- It is recommended to remove Luxtier jewelry products during sporting activities.
- Avoid all contact with salty water, soap, cosmetic products, fragrances, hairspray as well as corrosive or solvent based cleaning agents.
- Please avoid wearing your Luxtier jewelry products at the beach, in the swimming pool, hot tub or sauna in order to protect them from any damage.
- Chlorine, especially at high temperatures, may permanently damage or discolor your Luxtier jewelry.

For creations with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, gold and platinum
Clean your jewelry material regularly by gently brushing with a soft brush and lukewarm soapy water. Then rinse carefully with fresh water and dry with a soft cloth.
If despite your care, your jewelry item remains dull and the gems lackluster, take it to your Luxtier fine jewelry boutique.
For creations with other stones (emeralds, turquoises, opals, pearls etc.)
These materials require particular care and should be entrusted to one of our specialists at a Luxtier boutique.
